1. We explicitly ask when we need information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"). For example, if you wish to register as a member of we ask you for your name and email address. We use your email address to verify your identity, protect against fraud and to contact you regarding Worldwide Timeshare Exchange. We provide your Personal Information to necessary third-party service providers when you reserve or purchase travel services. We also use your Personal Information to operate Worldwide Timeshare Exchange and, occasionally, to inform you of new features, services, and products from Worldwide Timeshare Exchange and it's associated companies.
2. We may use your personal information to send you information on company updates, other services and products available from us and companies under our control which may be of interest to you. This information will be sent either directly to you Worldwide Timeshare Exchange and companies under our control or on our behalf by third parties. We also use your email address to send you updates about your account. We may use URL information we collect to help direct advertising to you that is more likely to be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive such offers from Worldwide Timeshare Exchange or have your personal information used in any of the ways outlined above you may opt out by indicating as appropriate on the member registration page.

Whenever you make a deposit, take an Exchange or take a Bonus Week, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
When you become a member of Worldwide Timeshare Exchange, you are appointing Worldwide Timeshare Exchange Ltd. as your agent to introduce you to another holiday property owner who has deposited a week, which you would like to take as an exchange holiday. When you deposit a week into the Worldwide Timeshare Exchange system, you are appointing Worldwide Timeshare Exchange Ltd. as your agent to introduce you to another holiday property owner who wants to take that week as an exchange holiday.
We ask you to provide information about your holiday property so that other members can satisfy themselves that it is suitable for their exchange holiday. When choosing an exchange holiday, it is your responsibility to make sure that the property you choose is suitable for all your requirements. The information we supply is provided by our members or obtained from public web sites. Whilst we try our very best, we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of the information we supply.
When we issue the Final Confirmation, the holiday contract is between the member who has deposited the week and the member who is taking that week. The inbound guest is subject to the normal terms and conditions of the holiday property owner and their property or resort manager. Worldwide Timeshare Exchange acts only as the introduction agent and does not supply the holiday itself.
We supply the name, address, phone number and email address (if available) of the person who owns the property you have chosen to exchange into. You are welcome to contact them long before your holiday to ensure you are happy with that holiday property. We supply your name, address, phone number and email address (if available) to the member who has chosen your deposited week as their exchange holiday. We do not give your details to anyone else. When you deposit a week, you get a "credit". This credit is valid for three years from the date of deposit and enables you to take any available week out of the Worldwide Timeshare Exchange system, on payment of the exchange fee.
We do not offer "like for like." You can have any size of property, in any location on any date, assuming it is available from the Worldwide Timeshare Exchange system. It is up to you to choose an exchange property that meets your requirements.
Worldwide Timeshare Exchange does not charge a fee should you wish to let your friends or family take advantage of your exchange or bonus weeks. (Note you are fully responsible for your guests and will be held liable for any damages or breakages in either the accommodation or on the resort during their stay).
If you cancel your exchange holiday, you will lose both the exchange fee and the week you deposited to get that exchange. We therefore recommend our optional Cancellation Protection scheme. This states that for £10/week, if you cancel for any reason, we will refund your exchange fee and reinstate your credit to allow you to take another exchange holiday in the future. We do however require a valid reason and proof for cancellation purposes within 6 weeks prior to departure. Cancellation Protection is only available for exchanges and does not apply to bonus weeks or rentals.
Please remember that every property and every resort is different. Please do not expect the same standard as the week you deposited. Standards vary enormously according to local conditions. If you have a problem with the holiday property, please contact the local property manager immediately and ask for the problem to be rectified. If you are still dissatisfied and decide not to occupy the property, then neither the property owner nor Worldwide Timeshare Exchange has any liability to provide you with alternative accommodation, unless they have provided grossly misleading information. We are always pleased to receive feedback on your exchange holiday, good and bad. We understand that things do go wrong sometimes, so we will always try to help if it is within our control.
We reserve the right to refuse to accept any deposit. We do this if we think the property is unsuitable or if we already have too many deposits of that type of property for that date.
Your membership of Worldwide Timeshare Exchange is annual therefore we will invoice you 11 months from initiation. You need to notify us if you no longer wish to be a member. We reserve the right to remove anyone from membership at any time.
You can make a request for an exchange holiday at any time however, please be as specific as possible. Worldwide Timeshare Exchange will endeavour to fulfil your needs, but is under no obligation to supply an exchange holiday. Making a request does not mean that you are going to get that particular holiday.
Once you have deposited a week, you cannot sell, rent, use, give or deposit that week with another exchange organisation without the explicit prior approval of Worldwide Timeshare Exchange. You must pay your annual maintenance fee in full for the week deposited (timeshare owners only). The property must be presented in a clean, comfortable, warm condition to the incoming exchange guest, with details displayed of the local property manager who should have authority to assist your inbound exchange guest during their stay.
Remember, whenever you make a deposit, take an exchange or take a Bonus Week, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
